We had a great video link up between Sleights Primary School in North Yorkshire and Linda Community School this morning. As well as an exchange of questions, we had our trustee Robert with the children in Sleights and our trustees Joanne, John and Jonathan with the children in Livingstone. They were joined by Rachel Crusher, an alumnus of Sleights Primary School, who is volunteering her knowledge as a nurse with us at the moment. Another nice touch was added by the children in Linda receiving Zambezi Sunrise themed decorations that the Sleights children had made at Christmas, while Robert brought with him letters for Sleights from Linda. Finally, knitted bears named at the Sleights Primary School open day at the end of the summer term were shown (and distributed in the community near Linda later in the day). It was a great hour!
