We were delighted to visit Lodge House, the new house for girls at Durham School, this morning. Out trustees Joanne and John spoke to all the girls about the work of the charity and, in particular, our support for Tiyese (‘Let’s Try’) Craft Initiative. This is a women’s empowerment group based in Linda compound in Livingstone who now derive an income from the production of various craft items, examples of which were shown to the girls. Our thanks go to Lodge House for inviting us, and for choosing Zambezi Sunrise Trust as their charity to support in the summer term. We look forward to showing some more of what Tiyese can do…..
