We are absolutely thrilled to announce A CHARITY SCREENING OF ‘THE BOY WHO HARNESSED THE WIND’ in London on 11th December, with Oscar nominated and BAFTA winning actor, writer and director CHIWETEL EJIOFOR CBE HOLDING A Q&A SESSION IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS.
We are incredibly grateful to Netflix for authorising this screening and to Chiwetel for donating his time to support this fundraising event. The screening will be at the Picturehouse Cinema, Finsbury Park at 6.30pm on Wednesday 11th December.
‘The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind’ is the inspiring true story of a boy who overcame difficulties with drought and education to help save his village in Malawi – issues that very much affect neighbouring Zambia this year.
Chiwetel Ejiofor is perhaps best known for his Oscar nominated, and BAFTA winning, Best Actor role in ‘12 Years A Slave’. His many other film and stage performances (including in ‘Love Actually’, ‘Dirty Pretty Things’ and ‘Kinky Boots’) have won multiple accolades, including a Laurence Olivier award and Emmy nominations. He will appear in the next Bridget Jones film next year.
