We were delighted, and hugely honoured, to welcome Her Excellency The High Commissioner of Zambia to the United Kingdom, Macenje Mazoka, to our charity screening of ‘The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind’.
We are very grateful to her for attending the event, together with the First Secretary (Press), and showing such an interest in what we do in Zambia. After the screening H.E. took time to speak with our trustees, the actor and writer and director of the film Chiwetel Ejiofor and other guests.
In previous years we have been privileged to receive visits from the High Commissioner of the U.K. to Zambia, as well as the Deputy High Commissioner, to our project at Linda Community School in Livingstone.
