What a great night!
We’d like to thank everyone who came and supported our fundraising screening of ‘The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind’ on Wednesday, including Her Excellency The High Commissioner of Zambia to the U.K., Macenje Mazoka.
In particular, our thanks go to writer, director and actor Chiwetel Ejiofor for giving a Question & Answer interview after the screening of the film. The Q & A was informative, entertaining and extremely well received by the audience – as was the film!
Our thanks also go to Netflix for authorising and facilitating the showing of the film, and Picturehouse Finsbury Park for screening it.
Guests included representatives of Sonskyn, the Belgian organisation with which we have often partnered in Zambia, and musicians Hayley McKay and David Neil Crabtree who have often played at our events.
Our latest short film, produced and donated by Lonely Tower Film and Media, was also shown – it was great to see it on the big screen….and hear the audience reaction to it.
It was a memorable occasion!
