Tiyese Craft Initiative rucksack in the spotlight.

Some people have wondered what it was that our trustee Joanne and actor / director / writer Chiwetel Ejiofor were looking at after our charity cinema screening last week in London. It was in fact a rucksack made by the ladies of Tiyese (‘Let’s Try’) Craft Initiative, a women’s empowerment group that we helped establish in Livingstone, Zambia. It was given to Chiwetel as a token of our appreciation of his having supported our event by giving a Q&A session after the screening of ‘The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind’.
