Uniform donations from Durham School were distributed at Njokomalomo Basic School, a remote rural school in Zambia’s Western Province, on Monday. Our trustees Joanne and John were able to hand out dozens of short and long sleeved tops which happily matched the school’s own uniform colour. There was huge enthusiasm from the staff and pupils – this is a school that receives very few, if any, outside visitors. Thank you Durham School for the donations – their journey involved four flights, many hours over bad roads, a boat trip and final delivery via ox cart. It was worth it!
