Massive thanks to the fifty brave souls who ignored the weather and came to our supporters Michael and Ralph’s open gardens fundraiser yesterday in Oxfordshire as part of the National Garden Scheme. As well as raising money for the NGS through ticket sales, all plant, tea and cake sales went to Zambezi Sunrise. The rain didn’t spoil a fun day, some great donations and a chance for our trustees Joanne and John to spread the word. Huge thanks go to Michael and Ralph, as well as Tracey, Andrew, June, Jane and Diane who all volunteered their time and talents to making another open gardens success. It’s a lot of work (even when it’s not raining) and we’re very grateful to them all.
