Yesterday we came across one of the ladys from our Tiyesa (‘Let’s Try’) craft club at her stall in Linda Market. Esnart is busy making a rug for sale next week. Similar to what is called a ‘clippy mat’ in England, it is made from chopped bits of cotton with part of a mealie meal sack as a base. We can’t wait to see the finished product.
