There were a lot of smiling faces in Grade 1 at Linda Community School in Livingstone, Zambia yesterday. Each child received a hand knitted bear made in the U.K. by Josie Hind or Ann Huntley, Florence Fawcett and their friends. Each bear had a tag with a name and/or message from one of our supporters who made a naming donation at one of our fundraising events. They were a very rare treat for these children and were immensely popular. Huge thanks to Josie, Ann and Florence, as well as Dutch volunteer teachers Noes and Anja who helped hand them out.
