On Saturday Linda Community School were visited by Mr Edward Sakala (CEO) and other members of the Law Association of Zambia, who made a substantial donation to the school. It is the second time that LAZ have visited the school since the Commonwealth Law Conference was held in Livingstone last year. The Commonwealth Lawyers Association funded Zambezi Sunrise Trust’s construction of a classroom at the school as a conference legacy project, and the legal theme was maintained when the adjoining classroom was funded by U.K. lawyers. The donation involved significant amounts of cleaning materials, mealie meal and other cooking essentials which Head Teacher Cathy was delighted to accept on the school’s behalf. We and the school are extremely grateful to them.
