Although the opening of schools has been delayed for a further two weeks in Zambia because of the pandemic, we’ve been helping the schools we support get ready. Pictured are items for Nekacheya Primary School in Livingstone. Another 200 face masks have been made for them by the ladies of Tiyese (‘Let’s Try’) Craft Initiative, and a 20 litre sprayer and 50 litres of disinfectant have been purchased for the disinfecting of classrooms and pupils‘ shoes and bags. Some additional desks are also under construction. We look forward to schools being able to open soon.
