We were delighted today to have a meeting with Her Worship the Mayor of Livingstone, Constance Muleabai. Two of our trustees, John and Joanne, were joined by Kennedy Mukumbo of our Zambian partner NGO Dream Livingstone, and Cathy Chilambe the head teacher of Linda Community School. In a fantastic development, the Mayor could announce agreement to our request for several truck loads of gravel for the school (and a steamroller) to help improve the clay site near our latest classroom block which can become very muddy in the rainy season. We look forward to meeting with the Engineers Department tomorrow to agree the technical aspects of the job.
