What a great night!
We had a fabulous Music Night at the Brunswick Centre in Whitby last night, featuring over a dozen fantastic musicians. Our huge thanks go to all of of them for donating their time and amazing talents, everyone who donated auction and raffle prizes, who made things for the very successful craft stall, or otherwise volunteered their time. Special thanks go, of course, to the more than one hundred people who came and supported the event (including the local MP), which raised a fabulous £4,147.79 for the charity!
The musicians included David Neil Crabtree, Hayley McKay, Ali Bullivent (performing her and Cmp Mr Power’s specially composed ‘Zambezi Sunrise’), Sons of Sheila and the Rob Smith, Paul Whittaker and David Neil Crabtree Ensemble featuring Kelly Scott and a host of other great musicians. Special thanks to Margaret Clayton who made and donated many of the craft items, and to Josie Hind who, amongst other things, makes the knitted bears that feature at many of our events – another 36 of which were named and will soon be on their way to Zambia!
We’re very lucky to have such great supporters – thank you everyone!
