We were delighted to accept an invitation this morning from Peterlee U3A in County Durham. Our trustee John gave a talk on the work of Zambezi Sunrise, some 17 months after it was originally arranged for June of last year! It was one of our events that was cancelled because of the pandemic, and we were delighted to provide Peterlee U3A’s first speaker as they recommence meetings. We are very grateful for the audience’s generosity: £148.90 was raised. 15 more knitted bears, made by our supporter Josie Hind, also acquired a name and will make their way to Zambia as soon as possible.
