A thousand ’Thank Yous’!!!
We’d like to say a massive thank you to Josie Hind who recently knitted her 1,000th bear for Zambezi Sunrise! Josie, who lives in Alston, Cumbria, has been knitting bears as well as blankets (and making clothes and bunting) almost from the beginning of our charity for us to distribute in Zambia. As well as bringing smiles to hundreds of children there, the bears have raised hundreds of pounds for us at our events where our supporters can make a donation to name a bear, or attach a message to one, which will later be donated to a child. We couldn’t be more grateful for Josie’s outstanding support – it’s amazing!
