It was great to visit Hesleden Primary School in County Durham this morning. Our trustee John gave a talk to a whole school assembly, with images of the video link the school enjoyed with Linda Community School a few weeks ago, as well as a poster they had sent to Zambia. He was also able to show them new desks there, 19 of which were paid for by Hesleden after they did a ’colour run’ fundraiser at the end of next year. Class 2 were then given replies to letters they had sent to Zambia and took turns reading them out. There were some great questions from the children!
