Big Give Christmas Challenge campaign raises £7,821.14.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported our annual online fundraiser as part of The Big Give Christmas Challenge over the past week. The campaign raised a remarkable £7,821.14 to build a new ablution block at Linda Community School, the school we are building in Livingstone, Zambia. Our thanks go to everyone who made a donation, and everyone who pledged funds to match those donations, including our ‘Champion’ funder The Coles-Medlock Foundation. £3,200 in match funding attracted £4150 in donations (totalling £7,350), with Gift Aid making up the rest. It’s the best result in the four years we’ve taken part in Big Give week and we couldn’t be more grateful. Work on the ablution block should commence in the spring!
