We are thrilled to have received photos of more reading books that have reached Njokomalomo Basic School in Barotseland / Western Province. This is a remote rural school with very limited resources in the west of Zambia that we began supporting in 2020. These books originally arrived in Zambia from Book Aid International. Zambezi Sunrise Trust has then funded and arranged with local partners their journey from the office of the Government Chief Librarian in Lusaka, by bus down to Livingstone, another bus to Sesheke, onward road transport, boat across the Zambezi and final delivery to the school. So far we have managed to get several hundred books to Njokomalomo. Our special thanks go to Grace Malambo of Nekacheya in Livingstone who helped organise this.
