What a Wednesday! Starting at 5am we went on a 20 hour shopping expedition to Lusaka, returning at 1am the following morning! We went with Grace Malambo (Principal at Nekacheya School) and her husband Herbert who drove the 7 hours each way.
At Pearson’s publishers we bought over 200 school text books and teacher support materials. At Computers for Zambian Schools we purchased 4 computers. We also managed to buy 2 whiteboards and marker pens. The money for some of these items was raised by former Nekacheya volunteer teachers.
