We are delighted to announce that Zambezi Sunrise Trust have been adopted by the Commonwealth Lawyers Association 2019 conference as their act of corporate social responsibility. The conference will be held in Livingstone between 8 – 12 April. There will be two major aspects to their support.
The CLA will be funding the construction of a classroom at Linda Community School. The building contract has been signed and yesterday ground was broken with the commencent of the foundation trenches. The Commonwealth Room will leave a lasting legacy of the conference.
The CLA has also ordered 1000 bags for the delegates, to be made by Tiyese Craft Club. Two peddle powered sewing machines have been purchased and the ladies will produce them over the next three months.
