Friday saw another big advance at Nekacheya School in Livingstone. Zambezi Sunrise presented the school with four computers for the school’s new IT room. Two of them have a particular history, having been paid for by ex IVHQ volunteers that supported a sponsored walk that the school undertook last October. We also presented the school with two more whiteboards and the names of ex volunteers that have supported the school appear on one. Rabeccah Mukumbo from Dream Livingstone attended the event to represent IVHQ. The other whiteboard had already been mounted in Grade 1’s room and put to good use. These are the last pieces in the whiteboard puzzle – all ten classrooms now have one. The day was also memorable for the debut of the school band – playing instruments we brought from the UK donated by Domini Pocock.
