It was a busy time putting up curtains in the new Grade 9 classroom at Linda Community School. The poles are hand made by a local welder, and the curtains by a local women’s empowerment group we helped establish, Tiyese (‘Let’s Try’) Craft Initiative.
If you contributed to our ‘Classroom For Christmas’ fundraiser as part of The Big Give Christmas Challenge, this is the result. We think the green and red curtains are a reminder of that Christmas contribution!
