Yesterday we had a three hour home visit walk to children of Linda Community School that involved distributing hand knitted blankets, baby clothes, hats and bears made in England by Josie Hind, Florence Faucett, Ann Huntley and her Knit and Natter and U3A friends, and Margaret Buchanan and the ‘Montague Makers’. We were joined by IVHQ volunteers from Ireland, Colombia, America, and Australia: thanks to Julie Henry, Sophie Fitzpatrick, Natalia Geraldo, Chase Honsinger, Baylee Neate, Madeline Karr, Jacob Stockton, Mikaela Dunn and Zachary James for their help in distributing items, and Laura Eppinga for more photography. It was quite a walk!
