So here’s a nice story. Mabel Beckett volunteered in Zambia two years ago as an IVHQ Volunteer. At the end of last year she donated some amazing knitted items that she had made and we were delighted to bring them to Zambia for her. They were distributed yesterday on a visit to the homes of children at Linda Community School (as well as this morning in the maternity unit of Livingstone Hospital: no photos). On the walk items were also distributed that were made in England by Josie Hind, Ann Huntley and her U3A, Florence Fawcett, the Montague Makers and Lydia Larson. Huge thanks everyone, including present volunteers Kali, Caitlin and Jack who helped us distribute them!
