On 16th March one of our trustees visited an orphanage and a school for vulnerable children to distribute donated items. The first trip was to Kwathu Children’s Home where Joanne donated teddy bears made by Josie Hind in the U.K. These all had a tag with a name or message from one of the donors at one of our fundraising events. She also donated blankets made by Josie and Pat Sutherland. She then went to the St Kizito school for vulnerable children, accompanied by Rabeccah Mukumbo from our Zambian partners Dream Livingstone. There they were met by Sister Bridget and donated more named bears, dresses and shorts made by Josie, as well as bags made by Rebecca Williams Dinsdale. The children were absolutely delighted!
