Some photos from the first couple of days of the visit to Zambia by our trustees John and Joanne, together with supporters Sue and Mark from England. After flying in over a very dry Zambezi visits have been made to Linda Community School, Tiyese Craft Initiative and to Homework Club on their sports day. Yesterday we received a visit from the Quinton family in London. Father Tom had read of our work in Counsel Magazine and we were delighted to show them the school, including the newest classroom funded by the ‘Class Action’ fundraiser. The family very kindly donated 20 kilos of reading books to the school which will soon be put to good use. This was followed by a ‘Home visit’ to the local community with head teacher Cathy, in which the girls assisted us in distributing donations made by a variety of supporters in England.
