Some photos from the last week. We were delighted to meet two new volunteers, Natalie Bee and Dr Surbpa Singh, who were here from America for a very short time but achieved a great deal. We were delighted to help them distribute fifteen 25kg bags of mealie meal and torches that they had purchased. They went to very needy families in the Highlands and Linda areas of Livingstone. They also visited and assisted Linda Sunrise homework club as well as distributing children’s underwear and buying chairs, desks and a number of school uniforms to support Dream Livingstone’s local school project. This was in addition to their construction placement!
Whilst helping them we were accompanied by another amazing volunteer Cristian Culillos Bacigalupo. From Chile, Cristian was ending his month long placement by distributing dental supplies to local families.
Finally here is photo of Gordon, who helps run homework club, with two pairs of school shoes that we bought at the market.
