This afternoon we were delighted to have a video link between Hesleden Primary School in County Durham, England and Linda Community School. The backdrop in the Zambian classroom was a poster put together by class 2 at Hesleden and sent with our trustees earlier this month. As well as a great question and answer session, Hesleden sang a song and Linda responded with a great impromptu rendition of the Zambian national anthem. Hesleden were also able to see some of their donated uniform as well as newly delivered desks, 19 of which they funded with their ‘colour run’ fundraiser at the end of last year.
