Identification / voter registration at school.

The Ministry of the Interior are at Linda Community School today. They are using one of the classrooms for identification and voter registration, using a new biometric system. We are delighted that, as a community school, the school is assisting in this way. Together with adult education classes, use as a polling station and other ways, the buildings are put to good use beyond the normal school activities. It was good to talk to the local councillor this morning about all this, as well as impending cooperation with the City Council at the school site after our meeting this morning at the Civic Centre with the Engineers Department.
