Girl power!
Coincidentally, today is both International Women‘s Day and Commonwealth Day this year. These photos record the visit of the female Secretary-General of the Commonwealth to the girls (and boys) of Linda Community School in our newly built classroom in 2019. The girls learnt about Baroness Scotland (originally from Dominica) and her achievements before her two visits and she gave all the pupils a talk on pursuing their dreams…..
