Friday 11th March saw a great joint presentation at Nekacheya with our friends from Sonskyn who arrived this week. Based in Belgium, they have supported the school for several years and, amongst other things, provided the uniforms and desks on previous trips. This week Zambezi Sunrise presented two laptop computers that we brought from the UK. They were in fact sourced by Laura Ballerio, an ex IVHQ volunteer from Italy who has previously taught at Nekacheya. The photos include the laptops with Laura’s old class. Everyone’s thanks go to Laura. This was perfectly complemented by the presentation of a laptop and projector by Sonskyn. We very much look forward to cooperating with them in further assisting Nekacheya. We’ve also included a clip of the increasingly talented band using instruments that we were able to donate in January.
