We are extremely happy to announce that we recently secured a grant of public land to build on for Linda Community School in Livingstone. Zambezi Sunrise was instrumental in obtaining the land. We now are waiting for planning permission and hope that building of our first classroom block and a toilet/shower block will commence soon. Linda Community School has 470 pupils who are selected by the community on the basis of their vulnerability (many are orphans). The school is dependent on donor support and presently in overcrowded and inadequate conditions. Children there recently cleared the field ready for building.
