The latest pictures of work on the toilet block at Linda Community School where work has been slow going after a week of incessant rain. The toilets couldn’t be more needed: the school was closed last week by inspectors because of the condition of the existing two toilets at the old site. The risk of cholera is in everyone’s minds in Zambia. Fortunately, the new classroom at the new site was available for Grade 7 to use. The school has reopened after some work on the old toilets……and is now flooded (see photos). We will be extending our new classroom block to build more new classrooms on the new site as soon as we have sufficient donations. If you haven’t yet donated to Zambezi Sunrise, please consider it. There are donation buttons on our Facebook page and website.
