Thank you Helen Kelly for donating the loom band kit. It truly was a success. After marching with the staff of Nekacheya School in the International Women’s Day parade on 8th March Joanne went with Mariah Holmes (an IVHQ volunteer) to see some children close to where we are staying to make some loom band bracelets. The children picked it up so quickly and thoroughly enjoyed it. It then attracted a couple of mums who also joined in. One lady brought a basket of popcorn from from the maze they grow for everyone. Within 1.5 hours the children had a colourful array of jewellery and every band was used. Great fun was had by all. Thank you Mariah for helping!
