One of the things we do is foster links between schools. When our trustees returned from Zambia to the U.K. in January, they brought with them letters from Zambian schools for five schools in England. Unfortunately, we were only able to deliver one set before schools were closed because of Coronavirus. We have spent some of the lockdown time, however, creating videos for the English schools to use instead. Last month Cramlington Village Primary School in Northumberland received a short video about their letter exchange with Linda Community School. This week it was the turn of Shotley Bridge Primary School in County Durham, with a video relating to their twin school Nekacheya in Livingstone. Today it featured on their website/Twitter feed: http://www.shotleybridgeprimary.durham.sch.uk
The original letters will meet their recipients as soon as is possible.
