It was great to visit Shotley Bridge Primary School in County Durham today. Our trustee John talked to assemblies at both sites and was delighted to see wall displays about Nekacheya (their Zambian linked school) in both halls – as well as some Nekacheya art! He took in the latest batch of letters from Zambia – part of an exchange that has been going on for six years. Special thanks go to Innocent Malambo who brought them from Zambia for us on his recent trip to the U.K. The children asked some great questions and we look forward to taking their replies to Nekacheya next year.
We were also delighted to be invited to have a stall at Shotley Bridge Primary School’s Christmas market on 13th December – we’re looking forward to it!
