This Saturday will see the annual sponsored walk by the children of Nekacheya School, which this year will be focussed on raising funds to buy books. Since the walk last year, we have been able to buy more textbooks (purchased in Zambia), as well as class sets of reading books (brought from the U.K), together with furniture for the school. On top of that we were delighted to be able to fund a repainting of the school in the summer. The children will be walking from Mukuni Park in Livingstone for approximately three kilometres towards the Zambezi and Victoria Falls. Last year’s donations were a huge help: 100% of donations will be spent on books. Just $5, €5 or £4 buys a textbook. You can support the walk at
