Yesterday saw a total of 23 volunteers come along to Tuesday night homework club. They were the first to see the new classroom that has been built over the last week, which was being used by the ladies of Tiyesa Craft Club. The new classroom is larger than the original and has been largely funded with donations from ex volunteers, many of whom supported a fundraising sports event for the kids that the current volunteers held a few weeks ago. Their donations have also paid for secure fencing, a gate, toilet improvements and better rubbish disposal. A huge thanks to everyone who helped out, supported the fundraiser or otherwise made donations to help Linda Sunrise. Homework Club, Pre-School and Tiyesa Craft Club will all benefit from the improvements.
