Books! In January our trustee John found a large pile of old books that were being discarded by Livingstone library. After a meeting with the Town Clerk, as many of them as are wanted have been released to Linda Community School. Although old and often in extremely bad condition, they do contain pages with words on and as such are a resource that will be valued. The head librarian also graciously released some children’s books in better condition to the school, for which we are also very grateful. So far John and head teacher Cathy have sorted through about half of them.
