It was a great assembly at Nekacheya School in Livingstone this morning. Our volunteer Will Gray and trustee John Gillette handed out textbooks to the children of Grades 2 and 4. They now join Grades 5,6 and 7 as the only classes in the region where each child has their own textbooks in each subject. The books were bought with part of the funds raised with Zambezi Sunrise last year by ex IVHQ volunteer teachers at Nekacheya. Our particular thanks go to Ben Bruno, Philip Einarsson, Rebecca Mary, Madison O’Brien, Katie O’Mara, Anoek Ratering and Charlene Sherry. Money well raised and then well spent!
