Today saw a lot of smiling faces as school uniform items (dresses, skirts, trousers, shorts and shirts) donated by our supporters in the U.K. were distributed to children at Linda Community School. At this school all uniforms are donated. Every child has a uniform – but they don’t match. Hearing this, Ann Huntley and Florence Fawcett hand made several hundred neckerchiefs with different colours for each grade to give them a class identity. The children loved them and a lot of fun was had learning how to tie them. Grade 7 got blue to match the new classroom we recently opened for them.
