On 1st June Zambezi Sunrise, in cooperation with True Thabo, presented a LifeStraw water purification system to Simoonga Combined Secondary School. This was our first 50/50 project with them. Until now, water from a bore hole was untreated. The LifeStraw Community system requires no power, removes at least 99.99% of bacteria, viruses and protozoan parasites and can purify between 70,000 – 100,000 litres of water. Our trustees identified the need at this school on their recent trip and True Thabo have organised its delivery from America. Marissa Frank and Jaclyn Campson from True Thabo were there to present the purifier. Laura Eppinga represented The Zambezi Sunrise Trust. Philip Zulu from African Joined Safaris, who provided transport, was also present. Our thanks to all involved! Image may contain: 2 people, people standing, tree and outdoorImage may contain: 1 person, tree, crowd and outdoor
