We’d like to thank everyone who supported our fundraiser in Oxfordshire on Sunday and Monday. Our supporters Michael Anderson and Ralph Mountford opened their  garden as part of the National Garden Scheme, and we are delighted to say that the event raised £1641.67 for Zambezi Sunrise. Our thanks go not only to Michael and Ralph but to Margaret Clayton and others for making items for the craft stall (some of which were also from our Tiyese ’Let’s Try’ Craft Initiative in Zambia), everyone who grew and donated items for the plant sale, and to everyone who helped with supplying and manning the tea and cake stalls. All the proceeds from the stalls went to Zambezi Sunrise Trust. The event will also have raised approximately £1200 for the National Garden Scheme, and the charities they support, through ticket sales. It was a great way to have our first live fundraising event in 18 months!
