We’re delighted to see that delegates to the recent Pan African Lawyers Union conference visited Linda Community School earlier this month. The PALU conference, with delegates from across Africa, was being held in Livingstone. The legal connection to this school that we have built goes back to 2019, when the Commonwealth Lawyers Conference funded the construction of a classroom.  The link has subsequently been maintained with regular visits to the school, with generous donations of supplies, by the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ). U.K. lawyers funded a classroom that was opened in 2020, and the Law Society of Northern Ireland (LSNI) have donated uniforms and other items. We’re very grateful to them all, and in particular to the Commonwealth Lawyers Association who began the legal links to the school.
