We’d like to thank Shotley Bridge Primary School in County Durham for their kind invitation to have a stall at their Christmas market earlier today. In fact we had two, one selling crafts made and donated by supporters, and one for naming hand made bears that will go to children in Zambia. All the proceeds will be used to buy textbooks for Grade 7 (the senior year) at Nekacheya Primary School in Livingstone. This is a school that we have linked Shotley Bridge Primary School with for six years and it was great to see bears being named in front of one of their wall displays about Nekacheya! Our trustees Joanne and John also enjoyed the opportunity to talk to children and parents about the link. Thank you Shotley Bridge!
