Massive thanks go out to Sleights Primary School in North Yorkshire who held an open day fundraiser for Zambezi Sunrise Trust yesterday. A magnificent £568.05 was raised. As well as a great cake stall, teas and raffle, another 44 of the knitted bears made by our supporter Josie Hind were named (they will be handed out to children in Zambia on our next visit there). Three of our trustees, Robert, Joanne and John were were made very welcome and very much enjoyed meeting parents, pupils and staff – as well as seeing some of the great table markers made by the children!
