Yesterday was the first day of the school year and a very busy one at Linda Community School. The True Thabo Lifestraw water purifiers were cleaned, litter picking organised and the school tidied, new children were shown around the school and classes conducted for the older ones, the new shelter was put to good use, staff and parent meetings were ongoing and works being carried out to improve the classrooms. Curtains were put up in the most recent classroom, made by Tiyese Craft Initiative. Several suitcases of uniform donations were also sorted for distribution later this week. Special thanks to our supporter Michael who is visiting from England and helping us this week.
