On 1st October 2016, while the children of Nekacheya School in Livingstone, Zambia were doing their sponsored walk, there was a jumble sale held in England to benefit the Zambezi Sunrise Trust. Jackie Robinson and her team of over twenty volunteers held a very successful sale at the Wylam Institute in Northumberland. The sale has so far raised nearly £1200.00. Our thanks go to all those who helped organise and run the sale, as well as those who donated items and all who attended the event. Our photo shows some of the volunteers before the sale began.
