What a fantastic night! Our trustee Robert Smith held a wonderful 60th birthday party in Whitby last night and used the occasion to raise funds for Zambezi Sunrise Trust. There was a series of amazing bands (some featuring Robert, as well as David Neil Crabtree who has recorded and performed for us in the past, and members of Back in the Habit who played at our 2019 dinner). Huge thanks to everyone who made a donation, purchased items from Tiyese (‘Let’s Try’) Craft Initiative, or sponsored one of the bears made for us by Josie Hind for children in Zambia. Thanks also to the fabulous venue, The Brunswick Rooms, for making us so welcome.
Happy birthday Robert! We look forward to seeing you in Zambia in January – together with those bears!
